FAR EAST AIKIDO CONGRESS - 2021

In the period from 05 to 07 January 2021, the Far Eastern Aikido Congress 2021 was held in the city of Khabarovsk.

The event was traditionally held in the aikido dojo of the Khabarovsk Federation.

Compared to previous years, this congress was less extensive in everything. And by the number of representatives and by the number of participants, in general. The restrictive measures caused by the spread of the new coronavirus infection Covid-19 prevented many from taking part in it.

But, despite this fact, representatives of schools and aikido clubs from Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Vladivostok and Blagoveshchensk gathered in the dojo.

Representatives of the Sakhalin Aikido Federation took part in the congress in absentia - in the format of a video conference, where they shared their experience and best practices with instructors from the Far East.

The main topic of the conference was to consider the issues of adapting the training process of aikido during a pandemic and self-isolation.

The culmination of the Congress, according to tradition, was a demonstration program - embukai.
